For Sale!
1993 Foretravel 36' Grand Villa
Class A Motorhome

$27,000.00

This 36' Foretravel Grand Villa is built on a Oshkosh chassis. It has a Cummins Turbo Diesel with an Allison 6 speed Transmission and PacBrake exhaust  brake. The combination has pulled the fully loaded motorhome and our tow vehicle effortlessly. It'll go 70 miles per hour all day long if you choose. You will find yourself passing big trucks on hills and it tows the car like it isn't there.

The motorhome has 120,000 miles on it, we've put 40,000 of them on in the last 3 years. In the three years we've had this rig we've changed the oil every 6,000 miles aways at a Cummins Dealership.
With any older vehicle there has been repairs, we've done the following:

Brakes and wheel bearings on the front wheels.

New front tires on 9/12/07.

Rear brakes.

Replaced the alternator.

Replaced the AC compressor.

Updated the satellite receiver to a KVH S2 Automatic Dome Receiver.

Replaced the Micro/Convection oven.

Upgraded the fuel filter assembly to use filters that all Cummins dealers carry in stock.

Changed the transmission oil and filter.

You'll get duel roof air conditioners that have made life comfortable even in 110 degree plus temps. and 2 propane forced air furnaces to keep you warm when it's snowing outside. We've been in both, Las Vegas in July and the Pacific NW. in Dec. Zip Dee awnings (the best made), a rear view camera so you can see your tow car, full carpeting, pleated window shades, a color TV mounted up front and we're including the free standing satellite dish just in case you want a back up to the roof mounted KVH automatic satellite dome. There are hookups for both cable TV and phone lines. Built in under the refrigerator is a central vacuum that works really well and reaches every corner. There is a HWH automatic leveling system. You will also get the Blue Ox Tow Bar. Everything is set up and ready to roll!

If you know the Foretravel name you know that this is a rare find. Quality and classic styling makes this stand out. This has been designed not just to look wonderful, it really works. We have full timed for three years and found this rig to have tons of storage, plenty of room and lots of carefully thought out details. There is real solid walnut throughout. The upper storage units have roll back doors, the kitchen shelves and drawers are solid walnut, the hanging closet is cedar lined. Everything has been made with real care and the best materials have been used.

Behind the drivers seat is a fold out couch that becomes a sleeper, with storage underneath. The kitchen counters are Corian with a double stainless sink with covers (that can be stored in a handy tray storage) and a pull-out spray faucet and a separate filtered water faucet. Under the sink is more slide out storage. The microwave/convection oven is over a four burner propane stovetop and oven. The Dometic refrigerator has walnut on the door and features a freezer and ice maker. Then there is a pull out pantry section.

We've installed a Hot Rod heating element which means you don't have to wait for the propane to heat up your water, there's hot water any time you want it when you're hooked up to power.
The bathroom has double mirrored medicine cabinet, sink, Corian counter, Thetford toilet and a nice sized shower with a skylight that gives you a little more headroom (one of those small details you appreciate when you really use the rig) and it's own light.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed with storage on each side and around the entire room at the ceiling. The headboard is a mirror and there are reading lights and an a built in clock/alarm.

There is a fold down lighted vanity and wired area for your TV. That is over three more drawers. Then there is cedar lined double closet with lots of deep hanging space and shelves above.

The dining table is Corian, and pulls out to seat 4. You get two matching dining chairs with new upholstery.

The two cushioned chairs up front swivel and one is a recliner.

There is a pull up table with more storage between them. The Pilot and Copilot chairs both swivel around to provide more seating, and in one of those nice extras that Foretravel does so well the center console has a large drawer topped with a pull-out table that makes it easy to serve the driver a snack.

There are also map lights and a CB radio...great for figuring out any traffic jams!
The couch has a new slip cover, there are new curtains throughout.

There are many large mirrors, but you won't feel like you are in a Disco! There is a large storage pod on the roof (great for out of season clothing and suitcases) and large "basement" compartments with room for everything you need and a few things you don't!

Heck...there is even  a doorbell!

We have loved this rig and had planned to drive it for many more years. But we've ended up needing to find it a new home. You can drive away and start your new life!
