KAREN ALKALAY-GUT
Karen Alkalay-Gut was born during the last night of the Blitz in London, and has been involved in bringing the peace ever since. Raised in Rochester, New York, she completed her doctorate in English literature at the University of Rochester and moved to Israel in 1972, where she teaches at Tel Aviv University. She has two children, two stepchildren, two grandchildren, and many books of poetry. Her latest books, High Maintenance (Neamh Press), and the electronically published Avracadivra (zbooks) will soon be followed by So Far So Good (Sivan).
