Klaus Gerken was born in Germany and lives in Ottawa, Canada. He has written plays, novels and numerous volumes of poetry, many of which are available on Ygdrasil, the online journal that Klaus has edited and published since 1993. Klaus is also a visual artist, singer-songwriter and photographer.
