Now you want to know about us. Here is the deal. This website's concept was thought up during the summer of 2005, and the design was started on September 10th, 2005. The whole website, to this date, was created solely by Tony... that would be me. We are looking to give everyone a website where they can read whatever they want and post whatever they want (Just send your media to me). We will write some of our own stuff that will be shown on the site. Most of the opinions that I write are my own. First thing I should say is that I am liberal and most opinions will reflect this state.

The name... Everyone has been asking me about the name. Well QWERTY is the first six letters on your keyboard. It is also the name of the keyboard you are using. Older typewriters used a different format, and currently most new computers use the QWERTY keyboard. Now, you may be asking "How does QWERTY relate to this website?" Well everything on the website TYPED media. We are also in the Computer Age, so our culture today reflects computer use. I thought that since I will be typing articles up I might as well call it QWERTY to reflect the culture that influences my opinions. Finally, I named it QWERTY because that describes everything on here. It is QWERTY.

Now the history of us. I have been building websites for a long time now. Since I was 5th grade to be exact. I have a lot of websites already. Most of them went under and are no longer online but a few of them I keep up incase I get any bright ideas and want to work on them. Here is a short list of the sites.

These are the three I still have. I used to have a music codes site, a personal website, and a HTML help website. Now I pretty much have this website.

Now to discuss the content that will be displayed on this website. I expect to put some of my opinions on recent issues that appear in the news. I have decided that if I like any funny pictures or jokes I will also put it here. As you know I also accept submissions by everyone. So if you want your article or funny picture or joke to be submitted please EMAIL ME and send it to me. Tell me if you want your name on there or what name you want to be displayed. If you have a program you want me to display, tell me, because I am interested.
