Al Gore Election Checklist: Lie - check.  Cheat - check.  Steal - check.

I didn't really want to get into this so soon, but some things are bugging and writing this (even though it will likely go unread) might be therapeutic. For the record, today is November 27, 20 days after Bush first won the election, 18 days after Bush won the mandatory recount, 13 days after original deadline for certification, 10 days after Bush won the post-absentee count, 1 day after Bush's Florida win is certified. After all this, unfortunately it ain't over. I still contend that Al Gore will successfully steal this election and become the illegitimate president.

What burns me most is that the Dems are attempting to steal the election and being sanctimonious about it. It's like someone breaking into my house and stealing my stuff while telling me it's for my own good. At least the Watergate conspirators had the decency to break into the DNC offices at night. Gore and company are committing daylight robbery and smiling about it. It's the will of the people. This will be on the list of phrases to retire after year 2000, along with disenfranchise. There may be some poor people who believe that the Gore campaign is truly doing the Lord's work and that they are on the side of right. Talk about delusion.  After eight years of the Clinton regime, I'm a little surprised that there are still some idealistic Dems left. He's screwed us all so often, we've all lost our innocence. Let's call this what it is. The desperate maneuvering of a man who has nothing else to do with his life.  Gore has admitted that he would do anything to be president. His entire life has led up to this very moment. It is what his father groomed him for from birth. Rule of law be damned. What's he going to do otherwise? He has no career outside political office. He worked for the Nashville Tennessean (aka Pravda on the Cumberland) for a few years in the 1970's, but he's no newspaper man. He toured Vietnam, but he's no soldier. He lost Tennessee, so running for statewide office, either the governorship or regaining his Senate seat is probably out of the picture. Poor Al.

And another thing ...

Hey you Democrats, don't give us this popular vote crap. That means nothing and you know it.  All this is intended to do is to create an air of illegitimacy in a Bush presidency. I have heard from Reps and Dems alike who will not support a president of the opposing party. Well, I can certainly agree with not supporting a President Gore more than a President Bush. Bush has been criticized by some that Bush is not acting like a uniter, as he liked to call himself. However, the people who say this also will categorically discount his fair election to office. How can the man be a uniter when he isn't given a chance to unite? There is a smoldering atmosphere of animosity in the nation right now. The political and legal contortions of the Gore lackeys is doing nothing but trying to ignite the fervor and fan the flames. Not the actions of a leader.

And another thing ...

The other thing that sticks in my craw (wherever that is) is that the deck is stacked with Democrats from the county election boards to the Florida Attorney General to the circuit court judges to the Florida Supreme Court. But the one Republican in the process, Katherine Harris, has been nailed to the cross as an evil, partisan Bush operative. The fact is that she is the only one upholding the law. News articles often refer to her as Republican or Bush supporter. Does anyone question the actions of all the Democrats involved in this mess? Do you ever here of the others referred to as Democrats or Gore backers? Sure, it's mentioned but not as a label, as in Bob Butterworth, Democrat and Florida Gore campaign leader. It continues that only Reps can be partisan. And partisanship is not a bad thing. The Dems accuse people of it as if accusing someone of child molestation. Partisanship built this country. It means nothing more than having an ideology and standing up for it. I call myself a proud partisan.

And another thing ...

Now the Gore legal weasels are trying to toss out thousands of absentee votes in Seminole County and Martin County. Whatever happened to "Count every vote"? If people do not see this hypocrisy, they will never see anything. The Democrat sleaze machine  insists that in some counties illegitimate votes that aren't even votes should count and actual votes in other counties should not. At this writing, this mess still has not been resolved. If this should give Gore a presidency, then all bets are off. There are no longer any rules. I never thought we would see this kind of travesty of justice in our country. We should be apologizing to Slobodan Milosevic and every tinhorn Latin American dictator for our past condemnation of their questionable election tactics, for we have become them. I fear for future generations. I am thankful I'm sterile so that my children do not have to live under future tyranny.

And by the way, at each voting station in Palm Beach County, the following notice was prominently posted: AFTER VOTING, CHECK YOUR BALLOT CARD TO BE SURE YOUR VOTING SELECTIONS ARE CLEARLY AND CLEANLY PUNCHED AND THERE ARE NO CHIPS LEFT HANGING ON THE BACK OF THE CARD. I have one word for the idiots in Palm Beach County: Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

And another thing ...

Take me back! or Continue the counting!
