Stop it or so help me God I'm going to turn this car around!

I've talked about the Middle East mess between Israel and the Arabs before. I'm going to tell you how to end it. Are you ready? I bet you aren't. Here goes. Kill all the Arabs.

Okay, have you calmed down yet? Let me qualify that a bit. I really should say kill all the Arabs that want to kill all the Jews. It's this simple. Israel should announce that all of the Arabs living in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, etc. have to get the hell out immediately. Maybe give them a few days to figure out if they want to go to Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon or wherever. Then after time is up, everyone who is not gone will be gone, if you know what I mean. Peace plans are all very fine and good, but how do you reach an agreement and try to live in peace with people who have vowed your extermination? I really feel sorry for the average run-of-the-mill Palestinian Arabs who just wants to live where they are and get on with their lives. (I count these people as too few.) They have one option and one option only. They must eliminate Hamas, Islamic Jihad and all of the other kooky murderous organizations that are screwing everything up. It has to happen now. Israel has been trying to do it for years, but every time they do, the stupid Palestinian Arabs vow revenge. Revenge for what, doing what they should be doing themselves?

So since this cannot end peacefully, it will have to end in blood. Hopefully as much Arab blood and as little Israeli blood as possible. Once the pawns called Palestinians are removed, there will be nothing much left for all of Israel's good neighbors to use in their covert war against that nation. I've questioned George W. Bush's "Roadmap To Peace" from the outset, just as I was skeptical about the Oslo Accord and every other stupid plan so far. Since his plan flies in the face of the Bush Doctrine regarding terrorism, I hope that G.W. has ulterior motives. Maybe he knows it's doomed to failure and Bush knows it. When this blows up (pun intended), the U.S. can say "Look, we've tried. It's clear that one side will never give up terrorism. Go ahead Israel, take care of things in any way you see fit." Then the gloves would be off and the situation can come to an end one way or another. And it needs to happen soon for Israel. The fact is that the population of Palestinian Arabs is growing faster than the population of the State of Israel. Also, the constant terrorism is destroying the largest industry in the country, tourism. They are already losing on those fronts in the war. A good military victory to end the terrorism and the evacuation of the Arabs from the captured territory would turn the tide and make Israel prosperous again. "But Jeff, all that will make the Arabs more angry with the Jews." More angry? Can you get much worse than vowing the extermination of an entire people? For the most part, Israelis are hesitant to be the aggressor in these situations. All of their military victories (and they are undefeated in the wars against attacking Arab armies) have been in defense of their nation. Even the attacks into the West Bank and Gaza Strip against terrorist groups and bombings of nuclear facilities in other countries have been in self-defense. Israelis will have to realize that the final battle against the Palestinian Arabs is not one of aggression but of self-preservation. Unfortunately too many people in the world will not see it that way, be it because of anti-Semitism or some other reason. Fine. Let them be disliked by other nations. They are anyway. But they will exist, and that's the important thing.

And another thing...

Aren’t the caring compassionate liberals supposed to be a little nicer than this? Over the last few days I’ve heard of a couple of instances where kind souls on the left wished death on other citizens with which they disagree. I wish I knew who it was, but I heard it reported that some columnist or pundit wanted Rush Limbaugh to die of cancer. (If I find this is not true, I will retract it.) Nina Totenberg apparently auditioning for Angel of Death, seems to wish that everyone who is not in lock step with her view on things. Here are a couple of recent examples:

On Lt. General Jerry Boykin – "I hope he's not long for this world." (10/18/03)

On Senator Jesse Helms – “…if there is retributive justice, he’ll get AIDS from a transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it." (07/08/95)

Of course Ms. Totenberg isn’t alone. How about a little tiding of love from Julianne Malveaux:

On Justice Clarence Thomas – “You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease.” (11/04/94)

And let us not forget this tirade from Alec Baldwin on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien:

On Representative Henry Hyde – "They voted on one article of impeachment already. And I come back from Africa to stained dresses and cigars and this and impeachment. I am thinking to myself, in other countries they are laughing at us 24 hours a day and I’m thinking to myself, if we were in other countries, we would all right now, all of us together, all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I’m not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families. What is happening in this country? What is happening? UGHHH!" (12/11/98)

Note that not only are their hated enemies the target of venom, but also the families of these people. What do Jesse Helms’ grandchildren and Henry Hyde’s family have to do with anything? Have any conservative-types spouted similar bombastic comments? Of course. In fact they get more disapproving coverage. Remember Michael Savage telling a caller he wishes he would die of AIDS? Sure you do, because it was all over the news. And this was just Joe Average citizen he was attacking, not a public official like in the quotes above. In my opinion, Michael Savage is basically just an idiot with a radio show. You know what you are going to get with him. He’s not a respected journalist or commentator. But Totenberg and Malveaux are routinely on NPR, PBS and other real news and opinion programs. On government-supported networks, I might add. And people still go to Alec Baldwin movies. (Wasn’t he supposed to have left the country by now?)

With all of this having been said and in the spirit of solidarity with my brothers and sisters on the left, here’s my list of people I want to see dead:

Hmm, I was going to put together a list, but I can’t think of anyone. I want Hillary Clinton to be insignificant and ignored, but I don’t really want her to die. (Well, at least before her natural time. We all have to go sometime.) I guess I’m not a compassionate enough person.

Take me back! or ------->
