Is it wrong to want to have sex with Michelle Wie?

Can you believe I've done fifty of these pages full of this clap trap? Anyway, I've almost had to stop listening to talk radio and watching news programs for all this negative Iraq crap. Ever since the prison "torture" pictures came out, everyone has lost their ever-loving minds. I put "torture" in quotes because I don't see that as torture. Most of it looks like something that would happen at the local Sigma Chi house during initiation. High school sports teams have done worse things hazing the rookies. Yes, I'm looking at this from a Western point of view. I don't think being naked or having panties on my head as the worst atrocity known to man. If fact it just describes my average Saturday night. But seriously folks... Let's compare the atrocities, shall we? A pile of naked Iraqi detainees versus hanging charred bodies from a bridge. A naked Iraqi on a leash versus beheading. One of the detainees said that to him the treatment was worse than anything done under Saddam Hussein. What?!? Fine, let's start shooting them. If violence is better than stupid intimidation tactics, then let the physical torture begin. I'm sorry, I'm just not concerned about what Muslim men think is degrading or embarrassing. I am concerned that this will cause a backlash against our troops by average Iraqi citizens, but beyond that I don't care. The terrorists already hate us. What, they're going to hate us more? And as it turns out, the average Iraqi doesn't think much of it. They've seen worse. And when you consider that the peace-loving religion of Islam oppresses women, the feelings of a few militant men is of no interest to me.

I have little to no sympathy for our enemies in this struggle against the Islamo-facists. The self-flagellating Americans will wring their hands about what our soldiers have done and worry about how it makes us look to the Islamic people and the world in general. That's all fine and good, but one reality has to be acknowledged. The rules have changed. This is not the same world in which the rules of the Geneva Convention was created. In the olden days, there were armies, rules of war, etc. Now we are fighting people who have no respect for their own lives, let alone those of innocents. They have to be laughing their asses off at Americans beating themselves up over the prison scandal. They would not hesitate to do much, much worse. Having the high moral ground is great, but if it becomes a hindrance in fighting this unconventional war then I'm happy to step down from the high ground and start playing by different rules. We are playing an old game. Americans need to realize that this is a new game and the old rules don't apply. Pre-emption is a necessity, not a novelty. Their warriors do not wear uniforms, organize in platoons and use conventional weapons. We have to adapt. If some aggressive interrogation yields information that prevents attacks on our troops or the next massive terrorist attack against us, then I'm cool with it. That is the intelligence that we are all concerned that we didn't have before September 11, 2001. If we could have done similar things to an Al-Qaeda member in August 2001 that would have prevented the horrors of September 11, would we? It's an interesting ethics question. Chalk me up for a little torture.

And another thing...

All you people crying about the lack of proof of WMD's need to now shut the hell up! Sarin and mustard gas found in old Iraqi munitions sounds like WMD's to me. Of course now all the true-believer anti-warriors are claiming that it is too old, not enough or no big deal. Excuse me? "But these aren't weapons developed after the war." So what? Apparently these shells date back to the Gulf War in 1991. Wasn't Saddam supposed to have gotten rid of those too? Of course the whole world knew he had chemical weapons because he had used them in the past. But he was also supposed to have destroyed them as well. Looks like that didn't happen. I think that's a violation of some U.N. resolutions. "But this is only two shells. That is hardly an arsenal." So what? The tip of an iceberg doesn't look like much either, but steer the Titanic too close and you'll find out there is more to it than the little bit you can see. I've always been concerned about where they were and why they haven't been found. They were either well hidden in Iraq or shipped off to Syria and other nations not friendly to us. The fact that a couple are found means something. Either insurgents have access to where they are hidden or they are being brought back in from outside Iraq for use against our troops and Iraqi citizens.

This WMD thing is only one thing that the anti-warriors are wrong about. The yellow cake uranium issue was proven by Bush administration critic Joe Wilson in his book. It turns out that Baghdad Bob went down to negotiate for Saddam. Could that be what the president mentioned when he said that British intelligence has learned that this took place? The anti-warriors like to claim that Bush said that it happened and therefore he lied. Well we already know that they have lied about what Bush said in his State of the Union Address and now we know that it did indeed happen. It must be sad to be an anti-warrior. So many of the platforms on which they stand to criticize the president are turning out to be wrong. Another claim is that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with the September 11 attacks, that Al-Qaeda and Iraq are separate. However, there is still the little matter of Mohamed Atta and a meeting at the Iraqi embassy in Prague that was brought to our attention by the Czech counterintelligence agency. That whole thing hasn't fully been explained. Put all of these pieces together and you start to see that what we did by overthrowing Saddam Hussein was right. The answer from the anti-warriors will be that it is not enough to justify starting an illegal war in which innocent civilians got killed and blah, blah, blah. We have several dots that just beg to be connected and I'm willing to connect them. After all, isn't that the criticism coming from the Bush-haters while they use the September 11 Commission as an election year tool against him? Bush should have known but did nothing. The signs should have been clear. Well here were some signs and we acted. Now they cry foul. There's just no pleasing some people.
