Boone County, IN Biography by Christ Film # 0934898 says that Thomas and wife
Anna moved to Indiana Territory in 1811 to what is now Harrison County.

Will of Thomas Lane Sr. received from the county clerk of Harrison Co., IN. 20
Feb 1997. The will was dated 9 August 1835. It was probated 3 Nov 1835. He
died prior to 3 Nov 1835. There was a Thomas Lane living in Harrison Co., IN.
in 1830. In his will (see Harrison Co. file), he indicates that he had a
former wife with whom he had children: Elizabeth Lane Roberts, Nancy Lane West
and Thomas Lane. With his present wife, Anna, he had children: Isaac, Craven,
William, Fielding, Sarah, Malinda, Elizah, Anna, John, Greenberry, Davis and
Nelson. Wife Anna's will mentions the children Pleasant Greenberry Lane, Davis
W. Lane, Wilson Lane and Ann Lane. They seem to be the youngest. There is a
Greenberry, born abt 1824, living in Hamilton county next door to Edward Lane
in 1850. Hamilton Co. is right next door to Madison County.

There is an Edward Lane in Boone Co. in 1830. Edward could be the brother of
Thomas Lane Sr.
