384. John Pittenger was born in 1738 in Somerset Co, NJ. He died after 1791 in Mansfield Woodhouse Twp, Sussex Co.. He was buried in Van Liew Cem. in Three Bridges, N.J. John was in the militia of Sussex County, New Jersey and mustered in June 6, 1777. He was a Capt. in the 1st Regiment and is buried in the Van Liew Cem. in Three Bridges, N.J.
