Both as a family and individually, we all had a blast this summer!
|
First we all headed off to Tybee Island. Donnie and Don went scuba diving off the Georgia coast. Much better than we expected. Met some nice new underwater friends. |

| Then Donnie headed off to Germany for 3 weeks, 2 weeks at a language camp in the Alps. | ||
|
Meanwhile, Nathan headed off to Camp Woodmont for 2 weeks. |

So, with both kids shipped off . . . Don and Beate fled the county for St. Thomas. The hotel was great, despite sharing the landscape with some less than attractive locals (unless you're an iguana, that is). The scuba was perfect. We spend two days on St. John; the second day we rented a dingy and sped around the island (until the waves drove us back to a more sheltered beach). |

After St. Thomas, we picked up Nathan from camp and flew down to Key Largo. Hansson, our oldest son, flew down from Panama City with his oldest, Harrison, and we all spent 6 days exploring in and out of the water. What a great time! |
