Federal Permits for Tuna, Shark and Other Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Fishing

 

A federal permit is required per vessel to fish for Atlantic bluefin tuna.  These permits are administered by NOAA.  Details and online applications are available at their website.  NOAA also publishes a guide for compliance with the regulations for these permits.
