SOME QUESTIONS:
OUR ANSWER: HighFlight Scale Modelers is a group of modelers from the Philadelphia area that are fed up with the system. We have grown tired of business meetings, politics, and dues. All we really wanted in the first place was to meet with other modelers and talk shop. So, that is all we do. We meet once a month and talk shop. There is no business meeting, no politics, no club officers, and no dues. If this interests you, come join us. All we ask is that you come prepared to do nothing except talk shop, show models, and enjoy yourself. We meet the second Friday of every month in the Horsham Township Building. Click here for directions. Meetings start generally around 7:30 PM and end when everybody decides to go home.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS WEB SITE: I started this web site as a sort-of on-line newsletter for the HighFlight Scale Modelers so members can see what happens on nights that they miss the meeting. I have no intention of building up the site into a general model building site. As such, there are no links pages or industry news or anything else like that. There are plenty of web sites on the Internet to provide these other services. I see no reason to duplicate them. ASSISTENCE PLEASE: I apollogize in advance if I have mis-labeled a model, put the wrong builder's name, or did not include any builder's name. Please drop me a line at DWAungst@HotMail.com to report and errors or ommisions. If you are a specific model's builder and want more information included describing the model, you can send me that information, too. I would be happy to post any information on a model that the builder would want. Click on a month to see information specific to that month.
