UNION OF AMERICAN HEBREW CONGREGATIONS'
SIGNIFICANT JEWISH BOOKS
ABRAHAM CAHAN
                                 PRIMO LEVI

In November 1997, Rabbi Eric H. Yoffie unveiled an initiative to encourage every Reform Jew to read significant Jewish books. Since then, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations  has selected eight volumes each year and prepared study guides for them. The Union suggests that you may choose from these or, on the advice of your rabbi, select other titles. At the Union's web site you will be able to access study guides for each of the titles listed. We have maintained the sequence of titles listed as of August 10, 2003.
