I have been in the sport since 1985. I am a typical weekend, warm-weather flyer. In other words, a casual flyer. The demands of family, home and work, don't leave me much time for me to fly or build. Lately, I have managed to get additional flying time over lunchtime where I work. The flying field the Argonne RC Flying Club uses is "challenging". It is a short field surrounded by trees, powerlines, and a water tower, but does have two magnificent runways. There is not a lot of room for setup during landings, but it is great to have a field to use at lunchtime.

I do not consider myself an advanced flyer, more run-of-the-mill. I am not an aggressive flyer, because honestly these things cost money. More details on my flying and equipment can be found here
