Hurricane Isabella Statewide Exercise
 
Here are a few pictures taken during the Statewide Hurrican Exercise Simulating Hurricane Isabella that took place on 7-8 June 2006. Click on the thumbnails for larger views.
 

 
You can barely see the G5RV Dipole which stretches from the tower to a tree in the parking lot.
 
 
This is the leadin from the G5RV to the operating area. Note the clever use of Crime Scene Tape.
Here is the HF station, a Kenwood TS2000X. The tuner was not needed as the radio internal tuner was up to the task on 80M and 40M frequencies.
 
 
Here is the primary VHF station, a Yaesu FT-2800M.
This is a Comet GP-15 Tri-Band 6M, 2M, 70CM vertical used with the VHF/UHF sub-receiver in the TS2000 to allow monitoring of the repeater linked to the State EOC.
 
 
Here are Vince K4AOC and Jason Patno trying to get the Satellite Phones working while Tom watches.
