Baltimore Gay Pride Weekend

MCC Baltimore Is again planning to participate in the Gay Pride Parade and festival, June 20 and 21.

On Saturday come walk with us in the parade. Assemble at 3 pm at the church or at Charles and Franklin at 4 PM. If you did not order a tee shirt, you can wear yellow or orange.

On Sunday the Pride Festival will be held in Druid Hill Park. Sign up to work in the booth. Also we need donations of heat proof cookies, lemonade mix, 9 oz cups and small napkins.

As one of the oldest Pride events in the country, Baltimore Pride has celebrated the diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in Maryland and throughout the mid-Atlantic for over 30 years. Attended annually by more than 30,000 people, Baltimore Pride is recognized not only as the premier GLBT event in Maryland, but also as one of the foremost festivals in Baltimore city.

On Saturday, the Pride Parade begins at 4:00 pm, followed by the Block Party from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On Sunday, the Pride Festival begins at 12:00 pm in Druid Hill park, and goes until 6:00 pm.

Don't miss out on all the fun of joining MCCB as we go to Baltimore Pride spreading God's message of  love and grace to everyone. How do you feel led to participate? Is it walking with other MCCB brothers and sisters in the Pride Parade, volunteering an hour or two in the booth at the Pride Festival or bringing in a donation of heat-resistant cookies and powdered lemonade?

Calling All Singles . . .
MCC Baltimore's group for singles will meet on Saturday, June 27, at the church. Singles are invited to bring a dish to share and discuss how we can support each other. If you're interested in attending, please sign up at church or contact Kea Harvey at 443-919-2025.

Join Outward Bound
for Miniature Golf
The next event for Outward Bound will be Miniature Golf! We will be playing miniature golf at Stansbury Golf & Sports Park located at 7900 Stansbury Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. The Spiritual Healers
"The Spiritual Healers" is the name of MCCB's dance group for teenagers, led by Deborah Ruffin. They have danced at the Assembly of God church in Owings Mills. The group will soon be performing in our 11 am worship service.
