Family Atmosphere
- Our school is our community. It is where we learn, grow and make friends. Most of our teachers, students and family members know each other by name. Many of us have become good friends outside of school.
- During the school day, the teachers organize many multi-age lessons in order to promote the students’ relationships with each other. For example, for the last few years, each older student has invited a younger student to be his assistant while dissecting his frog (or eyeball or whatever we dissected that year!)
- Our students often join organizations together, such as the local baseball teams, dance studios, martial arts studios and gymnastics clubs. Our students have also gone to Pine Knob, Mt. Holly, South Street Skate Park and other places together on a semi-regular basis.
- We organize many family events, such as the Spaghetti Dinner, Fall Festival, Grandparents Day, the Talent Show and the Ice Cream Social. Many of our students bring their extended families, friends and neighbors to these fun-filled events.
