SPECIAL RUN SHOW PIN:

All entrants will receive a Pour Horse pin. Color and mold have yet to be determined, so be prepared for a surprise! The pin is limited to one per entrant.

ELIGIBILITY:

This show is open to all original finish and customized Pour Horse Pottery products, as well as to all original finish and customized items finished in final form at the Pour Horse Pottery factory.

Eligible models include but are not limited to: OF or CM Pour Horse ceramics of all types; any resins produced at or commissioned by Pour Horse; Lucas Studio items produced at Pour Horse Pottery; bisque bodies glazed at Pour Horse; OF and CM Marcherware models; and Artist's Series ceramic models produced at Pour Horse Pottery (Seneca, Genie, Tynk, Loki, Excalibur, Covenant Kept, Lal I Abdar, etc.). Please contact the showholder with any eligibility questions.

ENTRY DETAILS:

Please note that this year your entry fee includes return postage. Your results, photos, pin, ribbons, and prizes will be returned to you by Priority mail in a single package. I will supply all packing materials. You do not need to include a SASE, stamps, labels, or anything else except your address.

Entry fees:

  • $15 1-5 photos*
  • $16 6-10 photos*
  • $17 unlimited photos*
  • $1 100 word classified ad
  • $2 full page classified ad

*Show entry fees include the show special run pin. If you do not want the pin, you may deduct $9 from your entry fee. One pin per household.

All entries are due July 1, 2004. Late entries will be judged in any remaining unjudged classes. Late entries are not guaranteed to receive the show special run pin; if no pin is available, the $9 cost will be refunded.

Include model's name, breed, and gender, your name and address, and classes entered on the back of each photo. Please identify unusual items or things to note during judging (i.e. finish variation, test color, rare item, etc.).

Classes may be combined or split at the judge's discretion.

COLLECTION CLASSES SPECIAL NOTES:

The collection classes are similar to live show collector's classes. A collection class entry must have at least 3 and no more than 10 items; items can be original finish, customized, or some of each unless otherwise noted. Entries can be a single photo or several photos, and you may enter a group of your halter photos. (The exception to this is class 38, where all models must be in one photograph and there is no number limit.) Please identify or explain unusual items!

NOVICE AND INFREQUENT PHOTO SHOWERS:

Because I want to encourage entrants who do not usually photo show, the realism and scale of the photo background will not be a judging criterion in this show (i.e. driveway photos welcome). Good presentation of the model (lighting, focus, filling the frame) will always be to your advantage, of course.
