Parent volunteer, Darcell Purefoy takes over the teaching during Bible Story Time with her “Doing Good, Doing Bad” presentation.  The entire student body had never been so attentive.  Simple, direct and real life experiences, as well as lots of kid participation, kept the usually restless time, the most quiet of the year.

Those parents looking for some less ambitious participation might consider taking over recess supervision.  Last week, two moms struck up the jump rope with triple jumpers.  Brush up on your old jump rope rhymes to really get the kids going!

Umeko Ichimaru has been the treasurer for over 20 years.  Each Saturday she can be seen in the kitchen writing checks, posting deposits and  looking over bank statements.
