http://home.comcast.net/~eastmorelandIn early 2005, I started sending emails to my Mom and Dad about, basically, what we were doing in our kitchen in terms of food-making, food-planning, and food-related events. Much of the joy and creativity in my day-to-day life is tied to food; and Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy hearing about it. So I just started out sending these brief emails as a way of tying our lives together more. Steve started posting them on our website and encouraged me to share them with others. Over time, the brief emails that started out this project developed into more of a short essay with recipes and is sent out to a wider group of people.
