Now I have a "New" 1952 KS601 awaiting restoration:

It is pretty much "Stock" with a few "Harley Rider" features like the tail light and handle bars. The black paint is original, but badly faded. There is a spot on the back fender which is rusted through because water got behind the stone shield which is welded inside the fender. I have a new fender section which came with the luggage rack.

Front and Rear shots highlight the original owner's touches... The spark advance is connected to a twist grip on the left. The bars are slightly larger in diameter than the originals, and this has led to fractured aluminum on the brake lever mount.

Note the "Zundapp Green" of the luggage rack. I found it in 1986 in the attic of Flint Indian, quite possibly the motorcycle shop that sold the bike to its' original owner.
