This site explains the basics of support theory and support preconditioners.

Preconditioners are easy-to-compute approximate inverses of matrices, used to speed up linear solvers. To learn more about preconditioners, click here.

Support theory is a new methodology for bounding condition numbers of preconditioned systems. More specifically, it is a set of tools and techniques for bounding extremal eigenvalues. To read the support theory overview, click here.
