Christmas Hand*In*Hand is funded entirely by an auction which will be held on Saturday, March 29^th in Knox Auditorium of the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, Michigan. The doors will open at 5pm and the live auction begins at 7:00pm. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in one night - a feat you will have to be a part of to really appreciate!

Kay and Al Huberty have done a great job of  leading the auction effort in their roles as auction coordinators. Kay and Al oversee all of the tasks of the auction committees and support the chairmen. Volunteers are getting ready for the big day. We'll be  receiving many great donations, which you can preview on Sunday, March 23^rd  in Knox Auditorium at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham between services.

Items to be auctioned are an assortment of items including new merchandise, valuable antiques, artwork, handcrafted articles and some fun and unique services. Check out the list of items! Or click here to see pictures of some of the items we will be auctioning.

Auction Commitments due: Sunday, March 9^th - to C*H*I*H box in Church Office

Auction "Take-In" (in the Knox Foyer):
Wednesday, March 12^th from 6pm to 8pm
Saturday, March 15^th from 9am to 1pm

Preview Sunday: Knox Auditorium March 23^rd between services

THE AUCTION: March 29^th at 5pm (Live auction begins 7:00pm)

The auction is expanding its horizons!

In addition to the church community, the auction committee is working hard to ensure that the Christmas Hand*In*Hand 2003 Auction will be enjoyed by the community at large.

The auction tradition continues. Once again Kay Huberty and a few "surprise " auctioneers will make this year's event a smashing success. If you have never been to a Christmas*Hand*In*Hand auction, come to this one. You don’t want to miss their show! Everyone is promised a good time.

Won't be in town on the Big Day? No Problem! Arrangements can be made for someone to bid for you (a.k.a. "proxy" bidder). This is called a  "Left Bid". You'll get a list of the items being auctioned, you set the highest price you're willing to go, and someone from the committee will bid for you (kind of a human eBay!) More information will be available about this service as the time gets nearer.

A Silent Auction

A Set Price/Logo Store (Treat yourself to a CH*I*H T-shirt or apron for $10.00)

The Country Cupboard, featuring home made treats to eat

A food concession, with soups, salads and sandwiches.

Payments in the form of cash or checks only. Checks payable to First Presbyterian or "cash".
