Chapter 10

Later that day...

Skye decided that Jax needed some serious prompting to be ready to give him her heart. She also wanted to neutralize Sonny; her last encounter with him really scared her. She remember AJ telling her about the meat locker that Sonny had held him in. Her plan was to lock herself in, then call Jax on her cell phone for help. Then, she would press charges against Sonny for kidnapping. But first, she had to find the meat locker. She headed out in her car, towards the docks.

Jax put a call in to Zander Smith. 

"Do you have anything for me yet?" 

"Jax?"

"Who else? Are you double-crossing Sonny with someone else too?"

"No. I don't have anything for you Jax. I'll call you when I do."

"You're just playing me aren't you?" Jax asked, already knowing the answer.

Zander, still upset about Sonny and Carly, decided he wanted out of the whole mess, "yeah man that's right. Sonny knows you're up to something, and I'm just stringing you along. I wouldn't help you nail him if my life depended on it; which in fact it does. You're on your own."

Zander hung up the phone, and sat down to write a letter. He knew a normal letter of resignation wouldn't fly, so instead he wrote a goodbye note to Sonny.

Sonny,

I know I'm a coward not to face you, but I'm really embarrassed about what I said to you about Carly. You were right, she doesn't want me at all. She still wants you, and probably always will. Jax knows I'm not turning on you, I told him. I really think it would be best for everyone if I just left town. I really appreciate everything you've done for me. Please say goodbye to Alexis, and Carly.

Zander

He addressed the envelope to Sonny Corinthos, and started packing his things. He'd drop the note off at Harborview Towers on his way out of town, and hope he didn't run into Sonny.

Jax realized someone had called him while he was on the phone with Zander. He checked the message. "Jax! You have to help me! Sonny's men grabbed me...I don't know where they're holding me! It's some kind of refrigerated place. Luckily, they didn't take my cell phone. Please find me!" Jax couldn't believe it; Sonny had really kidnapped Skye. He ran out the door to see the only person who could tell him where Skye was being held...the man himself.
