As Bad as He A Nasty Sonny Fan Fiction |
Chapter 11
Still later...
When Jax arrived at Harborview Towers, Johnny was on duty. "Yes?" he questioned, when Jax stepped off the elevator. "I need to see your boss...now!" Jax yelled. Johnny smiled; "I doubt he wants to see you." "I don't bloody care what he wants!" Jax screamed. Sonny heard the voices and went out to see what was going on. He scowled at the sight of Jax, "what the hell do you want?" "To talk to you," Jax gruffly replied, pushing past Johnny and Sonny and walking into the penthouse. Johnny went for his gun, but Sonny stopped him. "It's OK, just wait out here." Johnny took up his post again, and Sonny went back inside, closing the door. "What Jax?" "Where is she?" "Where is who?" Sonny replied; he had so many women in and out of his life and bed lately, he didn't have a clue who Jax was referring to. "Skye! Where are your goons holding her?" Sonny chuckled and shook his head, "you've got to be the biggest idiot on the planet. That tramp is playing you like a fiddle." Jax felt his heart clench; somehow he believed what Sonny was saying. "So, you didn't kidnap her?" he quietly asked. "Why would I waste my time?" Sonny yelled. "You let her convince you that I was after her, based on what? On nothing! And all because she wants to get you in the sack? I kinda feel sorry for her, almost. She doesn't know that you're still so hung up on Brenda, that you won't give her the time of day, let alone sleep with her." Jax couldn't stop the words before they left his mouth, "I'm not hung up on Brenda! I'm hung up on you damn it!" Sonny's jaw hit the floor, and silence hung in the air. After a moment, he managed to ask, "what did you say?" Jax covered his face with his hands and started to cry. Sonny got angry, and repeated, "what...did...you...just...say?" Jax took his hands away from his face and looked at the man he had fallen in love with all those years ago. "It's you; it's been you for a long time. I used Brenda as a cover. But, my hatred for you is real. I hate you for making me feel this way. I hate you for being so dangerous, and gorgeous, and hot..." Sonny put his hands over his ears, "shut up!" Jax stopped talking. "You're telling me that all this time you've wanted me?" Sonny spat the words out with disgust, his arms falling to his sides, his hands clenched in fists. Jax looked up at the ceiling, "God help me; yes." "And what am I supposed to do with this information Jax? You can't possibly think that I would touch a man with a hundred foot pole?" Jax looked down at the ground and shook his head, "I know you won't. That's why I hate you the most. You've ruined my life." Sonny smiled as Jax looked back up at him, and said, "not yet I haven't. But if you don't do exactly what I say, I will."
Skye was shivering, both from cold and fear. Jax must have gotten her message by now. But he still hadn't shown up to help her. Maybe she should have been more specific on the location, but she didn't want to give herself away. She huddled in a chair, trying to keep warm, but preparing for a long, cold, scary night.
"But that's practically everything I own!" Jax cried as Sonny delineated the businesses that Jax was to sign over to him. "I'm leaving you enough to live on, which is very generous of me, I must say. Hey, if you prefer, I can go to the press. I'm sure your stockholders and business associates would love to know how you've been carrying a torch for a man who's been on the FBI's most wanted list." Jax knew he was sunk, he had no choice but to comply with whatever Sonny wanted. "Oh, and another thing..." Sonny continued. "What?" "Pack your bags and go back to Australia, mate." Before Jax could reply, Sonny's phone rang. He picked it up, "Corinthos."
"Uh, boss, this is Benny. You're not going to believe this."
"What?"
"Skye Quartermaine locked herself in the meat locker, you know, the one..."
"I know Benny!"
"Yeah, sorry. I don't have a clue why she did it. What should I do?"
Sonny looked at Jax and laughed, "I know exactly why she did it. Leave her there till morning. I'll handle her then." Sonny hung up the phone and looked at Jax. "We're through here, and you're...well, you're just plain through...Johnny!"
