2009  Motor City  Race Winner

Text Box: The Motor City Race is an annual prestigious Young Bird race event that takes place in early autumn. The race enables local as well as out of area flyers to enter their very finest pigeons to compete at a high level. In recent years, many of the Top position winners were from out of area. There are several ways to enter birds in the race. One way is to place birds in the two auction sales that will occur in early spring. Another way is to send birds to a handler of your choice. These birds fly for nominations only. Nominated and Sale Birds fly for separate prizes. Birds at auction open with minimum bid of $50.00. Birds that do not sell at Auction are placed in rotation and will be allocated to designated lofts. Breeder must pay minimum bid if bird does not sell. You must participate in the Sale to nominate. Shipping birds into town is at the breeder's expense. Prize money will be based on entries. The projected prize breakdown is listed in the entry information. First Out of Area bird receives an additional 1000 points. Many top lofts across the country have competed in this race. This year's race will be better than ever and we hope you can participate. Don't miss out! For additional information contact: Ed Sawicki (ecsawicki@comcast.net) , Larry Fatalski (fatalski@sbcglobal.net)
