24. John S.⁴ RHEA (William³, Archibald², Matthew_Campbell 'The Rebel'¹) was born 1752. John died October 1, 1814 in Madison Co. AL, at 62 years of age.

He married three times. He married Margaret TURK in Augusta Co., VA, 1774. Margaret was born in VA? about 1752. Margaret died 1799 in Bath Co., VA, at 46 years of age. He married Magdalene DILL in Bath Co., VA, October 18, 1800. Magdalene was born in VA? about 1755. He married Polly Erwin NESMITH in Madison Co. AL, August 14, 1814. Polly was born in AL? October 10, 1797.

John S. RHEA and Margaret TURK had the following children:

80 i. Elizabeth⁵ RHEA was born in Bath Co., VA about 1775. She married Toliver WRIGHT July 31, 1797. Toliver was born about 1775.

81 ii. William RHEA was born in VA about 1777.

82 iii. John RHEA was born in VA about 1779.

83 iv. Margaret RHEA was born in VA about 1781. She married William WRIGHT. William was born about 1781.

84 v. Thomas Turk RHEA was born in Augusta Co., VA 1783. Thomas died March 1, 1842 in Bath Co., VA, at 59 years of age. He married Sarah J. LYNCH in Bath Co., VA, September 17, 1807. Sarah was born in NC May 8, 1785. Sarah died June 23, 1856 in Bath Co., VA, at 71 years of age.

85 vi. Ann RHEA was born in VA about 1785.

86 vii. Nancy P. RHEA was born in VA about 1791.

87 viii. Hiram RHEA was born in VA about 1793.

88 ix. James RHEA was born in Bath Co., VA about 1797.

89 x. Mary Glaves RHEA was born in Bath Co., VA about 1799.

90 xi. Sarah L. RHEA was born in Bath Co., VA about 1810. She married Robert L. BRASHERS. Robert was born about 1810.

91 xii. Hiram RHEA was born in Bath Co., VA June 10, 1813. Hiram died about 1850 in AR. He married Hannah HELMS in Columbia, ARK, March 27, 1834. Hannah was born in St. Clair Co. AL June 23, 1816. Hannah died December 10, 1859 in Columbia, ARK, at 43 years of age.

92 xiii. Esther J. RHEA was born in VA about 1887.

John S. RHEA and Magdalene DILL had the following child:

93 xiv. Henry Dill RHEA was born in VA about 1802. Henry died November 4, 1872 at 70 years of age.
