Pierre Henry in
collaboration
As musique concrete became more established, composers using
traditional means began to incorporate concrete music into their scores. Henry
occasionally worked in collaboration with others producing the tape component
of a recording consisting of musique concrete and
other means.
- Mariage de la feuille et du cliche by Darius Milhaud with musique concrete by Pierre Henry (France LP, Vega DR
30 S 1) fantastic package; the work was a collaboration between Milhaud,
Henry, and visual artist Max Gerard; gatefold cover with elaborate package
containing 1LP in book-like package, with statements from Draeger Freres (the printer)
and Milhaud, the text of the piece and photos of Milhaud, Henry, and
Gerard. Also included are two inserts on embossed paper with French text
from Draeger Freres
and a small card mentioning Draeger Freres.1
