A work in progress? (i.e., I may add one or two more movements ...). This movement lasts about 6 minutes and is in the form of a sonatina. It was written in July 2008 at the request of Carin Miller, who was then the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra's principal bassoonist.

I originally wanted to call this "Bassoonata" or "Bassonata," but when I Googled the title it seems some other nerd beat me to it ...
