From the Danville Public Library, Cemeteries of Center Township, Hendricks County, Indiana by County Seat Genealogical Society, Danville, IN, published in 1998.
This description for Gentry cemetery is given: Located about .4 miles S of Co. Rd. 200 S. and about 300 ft. W. of Co. Rd 200 W. in a heavily overgrown thicket of brambles, brush and trees on the E. side of a small creek. SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Sec. 31, T16N-R1W.
Editors note: I am happy to report that when I visited the cemetery on June 30th, 2001 it had recently been mowed and appeared to be quite well maintained for such a small and isolated cemetery. Apparently it has been cleaned up and maintained since the above description was written.

Proceed west between the tree line and field about 1/10th mile until you arrive at the north/south tree line. Turn right/north and proceed north between the tree line and field about 1/4 mile. There is an opening cut in the tree line about 9-10 feet wide directly into the east side of the cemetery. (2)

Note: Please respect the farmer's right to earn a living by staying as close to the tree line as possible. This will cause as little damage as possible to the hay crop.

On-road: After going north for about 1.83 miles there will be a gravel road to the west. (3) This is a county road and not a private drive. Turn left/west and proceed west about 200 feet.

Before going down the hill to a bridge across the creek pull off in the grass to the left/south. (4) If it is not overgrown there is a path going south into the trees. In the left picture the path starts at the line between the mowed and unmown grass. The picture on the right shows the beginning of the path.

Follow the path about 440 feet to the northeast corner of the cemetery. (5) In this picture, Edwards gravestone is the short modern one a little right of center.
