This etcher is manufactured by knifemaker Ron Claiborne of Knoxville, Tennessee. Ron is well known in the knifemaking community for his hydraulic forging presses and etching machines. This etcher comes with everything you need (except the stencil) to get started professionally marking your blades! It includes a DC etch setting for etching a makers mark and an AC "darken" setting for bringing out the contrast in the etch.
