Shipping Information:
We are currently shipping orders on the
weekends of each week. (Both owners of this business are now back in
Graduate school full time.) There may occasionally be a day
when we can ship during the week, but we've set aside our
weekends for shipping orders for the business. Orders
received and confirmed by noon on Friday will be
packed and shipped on our Saturday or Sunday shipping
day. An exception to this is an
order placed by an expedited shipping method
(i.e., UPS Next Day or Fedex Priority Overnight), in which
case it will ship out asap....I'll come in at midnight and get
it packed and shipped if I have to! :) If you absolutely
need it in a day
or two, use one of the above expedited
shipping methods - and send us an email to ensure we know it's
shipping via an expedited method.
All orders containing Nelsonite will only be
shipped via UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Parcel
Post. If an order is placed for Nelsonite and a different
shipping carrier/method is selected, we won't be able to ship until
the difference in shipping cost is paid. We're sorry for the
inconvenience, but we've been losing too much money in shipping costs
lately from people selecting the incorrect shipping option
and then people expecting us to cover the diffference.
We strive to keep all
items in stock at all times, but occasionally an item will run
out of stock. In the event that we run out of an item for your
order, we will hold the order until the backordered items are
restocked to save you additional shipping costs. Generally,
this only results in a delay of a few days to a week maximum.
If the delay is going to be longer than one week, we will ship
all in stock items and refund you for the out of stock
item.
All items are shipped FOB Origin.
Be sure to select insurance with your chosen delivery carrier
in case of damage or loss during transit. The buyer
is responsible for filing claims for damaged goods. We will
assist you with any paperwork you may need in filing a claim.
While damage doesn't happen often, it can happen depending on how
the carrier handles the box, so please select the insurance
option, it's better to be safe than sorry! Once the box leaves
our facility, we no longer have any control over it and
ownership is transferred to the buyer at that time. While
Fedex and UPS automatically cover packages for up to $100 in
insurance, with the USPS, if there is a problem, and you did not
select insurance on your package, you are unfortunately out of luck. USPS does not cover any
package without purchase of insurance. So please always err on the side of
caution and pay the aditional amount for insurance coverage. Just to state it again, once
the package is
picked up or delivered to the shipping carrier, the ownership is transferred
to the buyer, and we can not be held responsible for
its transit and delivery. Most people understand this, but we've
had some people try to take advantage of us recently
and we just can't emphasize this enough - it's important
to have insurance on your package!
Packaging
Information:
All of the materials we carry
are repackaged from bulk stock, so we can offer the smaller
quantities for your convenience. We strive to package your order securely to provide
adequate protection from even the most brutal of postal employees. Also, we try to
recycle shipping boxes and packing materials whenever possible....it's good for
the environment.
Return
Policy:
No returns
without prior approval. All return items must have an RMA number issued
by us authorizing the return. Any authorized return other
than for error on our part will be subject to a restocking fee of
20 percent. All returns must be carefully packed in the
original packaging and shipping cartons, with all shipping charges
prepaid.
