Why #EnglishHelp

This channel began on June 15, 2006. For many years people came into the help channels where I work and asked for help with English-related questions. I often took the time to help them in the channel and in messages. Sometimes, the others in the channel objected, because the help channels were not specifically English help channels. So I decided it was time to create a channel for those seeking help with English skills.

I hope we generate enough users and interest in the channel to warrant registering it to make it a stable Undernet help channel.
