A little of this, a little of that...

This is rather an eclectic mixture. I've got a few 'sections' of my page which are fairly self explanatory. Some things I've put together for (or by) my kids, a lot of things about role playing games, and various creative projects.

The yarn section is probably most useful for the collected links. The pottery page is on a different site, and hasn't been updated in ages. The Essays are cross linked as 'why' from my home page, and are not intended to appeal to everyone - read at your own risk.

I've got a couple of 'special projects' as well. RTFM is a very modest attempt at 'internet made easy', a place to send your mother when she sends you the third virus hoax warning in a week. There are other guides out there which are more complete, and probably more useful, but this one is mine.

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is a primer on simple encryption. It's pretty much obsolete, and I'll probably be taking it down soon.

The Scooby Doo! section is actually part of my role playing collection, but it may have some amusement value for a larger audience as well. It's basically a discussion of the archetypes within that 70's cartoon show, and how they can be used to examine the relationships of characters within fictitous teams to produce tension and balance. Besides, Scooby Doo is just cool.

"Mountains of the East" is a story my daughter Abby wrote in 2004. Posted by permission. Likewise, "Butterfly" is the commencement speech my other daughter, Dorothy, made for her 5th Grade class (in 2006), also used by permission.

I have a small collection of Mommy, Mommy jokes which, like the PGP page, might be coming down as I clean up my website.
