NW Natural Yard Days

An incentive program to encourage homeowners in King County to change the way they care for their yards.

Northwest Natural Yard Days (NNYD), now in its ninth year, is a partnership of local government agencies, cities and local water providers. of local government agencies, cities and local water providers. The goal of this popular program is to encourage residents of King County and surrounding areas to practice natural yard care. This is done through discounts on natural yard care product sales in the spring and fall each year.

By providing retail discounts on natural yard care products, NNYD helps you explore natural solutions to the most common yard care needs including unhealthy looking grass (PDF, 337 K), garden pests (PDF, 101 K) and weed control issues.

In the fall discounts are given on the following products:

  • organic fertilizer
  • bagged compost and bark mulch
