Elinor Melton Gorgas is a Registered Nurse with over twenty-five years of experience in a variety of nursing areas from Critical Care to Home Health. She has specific experience in case management of geriatric custodial to complex catastrophic patients. She has served as a Director of Nursing, Administrator for a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency, Regional Nurse Consultant, and Community Education Specialist. She has also served as an expert witness in case management. Ms. Gorgas was a Roundtable 2000 presenter on the topic of Level of Care for the Medicaid Nursing Home Program in the Elder Law Section of the annual Florida Bar meeting.
As the founder and President of CENTRAL FLORIDA MEDICAL LEGAL CONSULTANTS, Ms. Gorgas is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the dignity, welfare, and independence of elder citizens. Ms. Gorgas is currently a Legal Nurse Consultant and a Registered Professional Guardian. She is a member of the Florida Guardianship Association and the Florida Bioethics Network. She specializes in elder care evaluation, case management, guardianship, and litigation support.
Ms. Gorgas provides consultation services to individuals and attorneys.
