This shaker step ladder design came from  Norm Abram's books on Shaker furniture.  It is made from oak with walnut trim.

The stool is not very stable unless it is used against a vertical surface.  More often than not, it plays the role of a plant stand.

Overall size 25.5" high by 18" wide by 13" deep. The finish is urethane to protect it from water stains.
