Coffee Table Surface
Natural look includes knots

The soft pine coffee table is intended to gain "history" over the years.  The dings and other distress that occur will remain part of its character.

The table measures 36" by 36" and has two opposing drawers with dovetail joints.

The stained and urethaned surface resists water marks.  The abuse absorbing oak trimmed drawers are   stained to matched the top.

Notice the shape of the painted legs.  They are octagonal at the rail end and smoothly transition to round.  The rails have a recessed center run to add some interest to the design.  Mortise and tenon construction throughout.  

The top of the table is composed of 1" thick local pine.   It contains defects and knots.
