Cyprus Planters with Privacy Screens

Privacy Screens

Privacy screens can be added to the planters where additional height for climbing plants or  privacy is desired.

Price varies with size and detailing.

The planters replace a rail on a low deck.  Cypress' rot resistance withstands direct contact with the soil, an insert is not required.  The bottom of the planter consists of 1-5/8" thick pressure treated planks, which are spaced to provide adequate support yet allow water drainage.  The planters have been in use for six years without any sign of rot.

The planter frame has pinned mortise and tenon construction. Sides are tongue and groove with allowance for expansion.  Waterproof glue and stainless hardware are used throughout.

These planters should last for many years.

Size as shown is 40" x 15" by 24" high.  Other sizes, styles and shapes are available.

Price for an individual planter as shown (but without paint) is $725.
