Name Of Person or person(s) to whom you talked. You may be transferred many times before the telephone call is terminated ,and you may have to call back, if the instructions you receive "do Not correct the problem"

Ask "To Whom you can send an " E-Mail or Letter" confirming your call to insure that there is nothing lost in the transmission of your complaint from companies employee to company management. Showing that you are willing to take the time to document will convey how serious you are about getting the problem solved.

Be sure your documentation is legible and in a state ( condition ) that will allow you to forward copies if you are asked. Many companies make requests for documentation to insure that their employees have transmitted all salient ( important ) data "And" to put the complainer through efforts to show them if the complaint is frivolous.

Ask the company employee about their capacity and or authority and write what you are told on your form.

Prepare to persevere...Don't take " No " for an answer !!!... If one person can't give you satisfaction, ask to talk to their supervisor, manager, and keep going up the ladder until you talk to someone who has the authority to solve your problem.

Remember, you need help... need something you deserve, but how you ask will go a long way toward the company's personnel making the effort to help in solving your problem. Don't start off being belligerent...Insulting...Caustic... Scarcastic. Consider how you would react if someone called and swore,or cursed at you, You know you would take their complaint and shred it into pieces..As an old TV Detective used to say.." Just The Facts ", stay with the facts you have written on your preparation sheet.

After presenting you problem ( case ) be specific about what you want. A Replacement...A refund...A loaner,while your part, product is in repair

If and when you have exhausted all avenues within the manufacturers company, then you have to ask for help from other sources out side the company..The Better Business bureau... Federal Authorities ( See Below for computer Link )...Trade Organizations

As a line of last resort, post your inability to get satisfaction from the company in appropriate Forums and Complaint Sites.

If you decide to avail your self of the last resort of "Posting in Forums" or the use of "Complaint-Gripe-Beef" sites, be sure that what you transmit is factual..Don't take liberties with the facts or embellish to a point that could cause the company to take action against you.

Some companies will initiate " nuisance " suits...making it more costly for the complainer than what the repair or replacement might cost. After all , they have legal staff available within the company so initiating action would incur minimal costs to them.

Visitors should not misconstrue the last paragraph implying that the Page Author is advising against taking action...posting indifference, not adhering to warranties by the manufacturer, service, etc... to forums and other.
