Just read in Digital Camera about having the 2500L
upgraded...how does one go about this? Thanks.
HELP!! Maybe this is the wrong place to ask these
questions. I like the product and I want to buy....But I am overwhelmed by all
of the choices. Prices, re-furbed units, new firmware....What's a person to do?? For further information and/or help prior

A wonderful site. I came to this site through a search in
Copernic 2000 while researching which camera to buy for dental photography. The
2500 has been recommended by many friends but your site helped me make up my
mind.

I will soon be a new owner of a C-2500L and I look
forward to using it. It is good to see there are others that like these cameras
and there is an excellent site like this.

I just got a C 2500L - probably one of the
last ones. And I love it! The optical SLR viewfinder is precisely what I need.

What a good idea to make such site! I've got my
"Oly" for 730$. Mostly I'm happy with it but I'd like to learn
more about photography methods used with it to take good pictures because most
pictures I've taken look noisy and not always sharp. Would you make such
site category with hints and share of experience? Thank you in advance.
Purchased a C-2500L through eBay. Got a great deal, but
no owner's manual. Any thoughts on where I can get one? Preference would be an
electronic version, but paper would be fine too. Thanks - great web site.
I've only just purchased my 2500L. I got a good deal
because it was discontinued stock: £400 (usually £750 over here). Now that I
have just discovered your web site, I was anxious to know for how long you would
be maintaining it, given that you may well be tempted into buying another camera
now that new models are arriving on the scene by the month. "This website continues to be a work-in-progress. While additions to this site may only be once or twice a week, I will continue to update and maintain this site indefinitely."
What you folks put together on a
continuing basis is of exceptional value a 60-year-old "Rookie" like
me who has recently purchased the remarkable Olympus C-2500L. Though, I am an
experienced, high level computer user, CAD, Computer Aided Manufacturing,
Computer Integrated Welding, plus a host of other design and graphics packages,
I have always been a "scanner" when it came to the integration of
photographic elements in my work. My new Olympus Camera has caused me to
"retire" my trusty, 25-year-old Yashica 35mm unit now that my level of
competence has risen to a reasonable degree. What I have found on your website
has been most inspiring and informative. Keep it up, please. I hope I will soon

My 2500 arrived today. I love it and it
takes great pictures. It is a factory refurbished camera but looks brand new.
The camera store told me that refurbished cameras come with only 8mb SM and no
charger, however I found 32mb SM and a charger included. BTW, it was $749.00 +
shipping.

Stopped in to check out your C2500L website. . . Love
this camera!!! Btw, I take pictures in "S-Macro" at full telephoto
zoom all the time - you must be at least 18" from the subject for this to
work. . . I can't use manual focus - need new glasses - no matter what I do with
the diopter adjustment, what looks clear thru the lens comes out blurry in the
actual photo!!!

I am very impressed with the depth of knowledge of the
participants in the group, as well as the explanations of fixes for common
problems. The photographs are also exceptional.
I'm having a ball with this camera!! This is my third
digital in 5 years and my second Olympus. I think this one may last me a while.

Yours is a most excellent C-2500L site. The
"quirks" section itself is invaluable, because it notes the "card
error" I was getting - the camera gets confused by the Mac's invisible
files when I delete an image in the camera. Thanks ever so much! - john

algunas fotos. El resultado: EXCELENTES. Donde solamente esta camara es un poco
debil es con fotografia nocturna. A la gente que tienen CP950 y CP990 les digo

With the exception of the C-2500L Camedia's inability to automatically
add fill flash under conditions of brightly lit backgrounds, it is an
excellent compromise of price and capabilities. Your web site is excellent.
