My first attempt at painting space marines was a long time ago, back when I had absolutely no idea about any fluff at all of the 40K universe, and I had come up with my own painting schemes, painting all of the different types of marines in a different shade of blue. SOme of them turned out OK, and maybe I'll post some of those pictures later, but for now I'm going to keep to my current army of epic Dark Angels Space Marines that I started back in the E:40K era, when a lot of the marvelous plastic characters were introduced. All of my marines come from the sprues available from those days, and so my tactical marine squads have a sergeant figure on one stand and a heavy weapon on the other stand. I started on several of them quite a while go but as often happens, life intervenes and my attention later wandered to making army cards. But this website has been giving me incentives to paint and finish some figures so here goes.

Landing Craft for Aerial Assault
I have a sculpted base for my LC made from a warhammer regiment base, when the aircraft is landed for troop embarkation/debarkation.
