They are doing so because pharmaceutical companies are charging more than what people can afford. Pharmaceutical companies argue they can’t charge less because they have to recoup the expense of drug development. How would someone at the preconventional, conventional, and postconventional level explain what they think is right and wrong? First, describe two preconventional responses--one arguing in favor of the developing countries and one arguing in favor of the pharmaceutical companies. Second, describe two conventional responses--one arguing in favor of the developing countries and one arguing in favor of the pharmaceutical companies. Lastly, describe one postconventional response and discuss how this response differs dramatically from the earlier levels.
