Last Friday, a group of us gathered for our annual Christmas game-a-thon in Elkhart, Indiana. The players were Bob, Carol and Rachel Jones, Bob’s Mom, Beth, our nephew, Trenton, Paul Seegers, Andrew Kidder, Erik Light and his wife, Jenny, and Paul Czarnota. For the first time in nearly a decade, Jeff Spencer was unable to attend, having moved to the Michigan UP. We were very happy to welcome Erik’s wife, Jenny, to the group. Jenny is from China, English is her second language, she was involved in her first big gaming experience, she had to learn the rules to a half dozen games, and she won Web of Power and Taj Mahal! We were all very impressed with her intelligence and grace. We hope she’ll attend future events. Babycon is just around the corner . . .
A special thanks goes to Bob’s Mom for hosting and providing the soda, Bob’s Dad, Steve, for buying the pizza, and Paul Czarnota who brought treats for all.
We started around 1PM on Friday and finished the last game at 6AM on Saturday. Below is the tote (winner listed in bold).
