Text Box: It will never happen to me… Eric’s Story How a drunk driving crash changed my life forever.

 

Eric’s Story is about Eric Nardone, whose life and dreams at the age of 22, were shattered by a friend who was driving drunk and speeding.  It is a story about being handicapped as a result of that crash, and of the physical and emotional battles that are part of his everyday life.  It is a story about examining values, and decisions regarding friendships, substance abuse and decision making. 

Eric’s crash occurred on September 11, 1988. Eric, a championship kick boxer, carpenter, and U.S.M.C. recruit, has spent the last 17 years recovering from numerous surgeries, and physical and occupational therapy.
