I've now got a generous workspace near the stove. I think the glass cabinet doors came out nicely, too!

There's an equally generous workspace to the left of the sink--anyone want to come do pastry duty? My knife rack still needs to be installed over the sink.

On the left, the pantry and bookshelf that fill in what used to be a pocket door. Center cabinetry provides a big storage space over the refrigerator--some vertical for cutting boards, cookie sheets, etc.

The corner between wet bar and pantry features curved open shelves. These shelves started as a solution to a thorny design problem and became a unifying design theme...

...as they are repeated inside the high cabinets over the sink, at the far right end of the cabinetry, and at the near end of the breakfast bar. My old stools, foreground, are comically short for the new bar-height bar. I'll need to go shopping.
