This is an album of family photographs compiled by my great-grandmother Anna (Loven) Lapp. Most of the images are labeled, so it's possible to put names to the faces, but before building the web pages, I didn't know how most of them were related. Since then, several Lapp cousins have shared their genealogical information with me and clarified many of the relationships, and I continue to research the Loven side.

Whatever was written on the pictures is reproduced here in "quotes." Bold text is my identification of the subject. Most of the links connect to another page here, but some go to sites that were the sources of the genealogical information I found.

I've organized the photographs by family, so pages here don't correspond to those in the original album. I've numbered the photographs in the order that I scanned them, which for the most part is also the order in which they appear in the album. A few of the photos weren't mounted in the album, but stuck in it loosely, and those I gave letters rather than numbers.

Ida Halstead is Mary Halstead's sister and Anna's aunt. Albert and Andrew Lapp are my great-grandfather's brothers. William A. Lapp was my great-grandfather's first cousin (their fathers Conrad and Julius, respectively, were brothers).
