Grease: the story continues. The gang from Rydell High is back! Sandy, Rizzo and the Pink Ladies bury the hatchet trying to out-shine the new rich girls, Debbie and Betty. Meanwhile, Danny and the T-Birds have problems too - a new gang who thinks they’re the new cool. Then the Bandstand TV Show comes to the school and has everyone rocking around the clock. All the great music from Grease, plus even a little Elvis - and more!
The class also participates in exciting theater exercises and improvs that enhance dramatic skills, build confidence and nurture creativity in a climate that is supportive, lively and fun.
So guys slick back your hair and girls get out your poodle skirts. “ROCK & ROLL HIGH: GREASE IS THE WORD” will rock your world!

Billy and his friends don’t mean to, but sometimes they lie. Not a lot, nothing serious, just teensy little lies here and there. Then they find a mysterious amulet and strange things start to happen. Now, when one of them lies about having done her homework, ALL of their homework vanishes! For every lie, there is a magical consequence. Can they ever make it stop?
This musical is excellent for both new and non-readers. We also play weekly theater games and exercises that help each student stretch their creativity in a positive atmosphere.
We can’t tell a lie - “LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE” is guaranteed to have you in stitches - and that’s the truth!

Did you ever wish you could travel to the land of candy? Well that’s just what happens when some boys and girls find themselves in the famous Candyland Game! There they swim in chocolate rivers, climb up candy cane trees and float on marshmallow clouds. Then they meet new friends like King Kandy, Princess Lolli Pop, the famous Sugar and Spice Girls, and more!
This musical is just right for non-readers who love to play-act and pretend. We also play lots of imagination games that gently encourage participation in a fun, nurturing environment.
So join us for a super-sweet story. “CANDYLAND” is a delicious treat you’re sure to eat up!

The class where the students create the play! A lively and energetic class with a Big Performance that highlights every child. Each week students’ ideas are encouraged and nurtured as we create our own characters and scenes. Plus we do improvisations, play lots of theater games, perform monologues and more! Then we perform our own original play at The Studio Playhouse! A fun-filled, fast-moving class with lots of variety that helps emerging young actors develop their potential. Taught by Artistic Director Janet Sales.
