I wrote to The author of this Pentagram, inquiring into the story and significance behind the image, and requested permission to use it on my own page. Enclosed is part of his response to my correspondence.
The "story" was simply that I was playing with my 3D graphics package (Truspace) and I wondered if I could make a pentacle. I was interested in the mathematics (trigonometry, to be exact) behind the design of such an object. After I made it and decided that it looked nice enough, I gave it to them, but I had intended it to be free for all use. In only one case have I asked for it to be removed from a web site (the site was using the pentacle next to an article about a Satanic abortion clinic that was using the unborn fetuses for their rituals). -Marc Shannon.
