OEM Font

This font is mapped as an ANSI/OEM font. Therefore you can also use this font on systems that do not support Unicode. The names for the Glyphs within the unicode standard are assigned based on the Beth-Luis-Nion variant of Ogham. The ANSI version is mapped to the english keyboard based on a differnt phonetic variant of ogham. I beleive it is the Boibel-Loth variant, but I am not exactly sure. I chose this variant because it appear to be the more popular version in literature when simply refering to Ogham. (And because of its popularity the it is the phonetic mapping that I am more familiar with.) To get the glyph for Ng use the forward slash '/' character.

A A H H P P
B B I I Q Q
C C J J R R
D D M M S S
E E N N T T
F F Ng ( /) / U U
G G O O V V

This font is primarily designed to be a seamless font. In the seamless version of Ogham feathermarks are not used and spaces are represented by breaks in the line. Additional character's have been provided to support the feathered form of Ogham. However to use feathermarks  you will need to use the hyphen key in place of the space key. The Addtional mappings for the feathered version are as follows:

Space (-) -
Feather (>) >
Reverse Feather (<) <

Unicode Font

This is a true unicode font with glyphs mapped to character codes within the assigned range for the Unicode subset (Character codes: 1680h to 169Fh). Though this is a true unicode font, it does not work on most systems, because of hard coded implementations of unicode by the OS developers. Note however this font does not implement the entire Defined Ogham subset only the character codes corresponding to the traditional letters. This font does not support the Forfeda Supplemental characters defined in the Unicode specification. There are no glyphs defined within this range of character codes (1696h to 169Ah). Also to maintain proper mapping alignment unicode subsets are always divisible by 16. Because of this there are three undefined characters at the end of the Ogham subset. These characters are not currently assigned a glyph within the unicode standard.
